How do you tell you are pregnant? Signs and symptoms of pregnancy

“Baby, I think am pregnant”.  This is a statement that for many couples, once stated, evokes several responses. Most of the time the man involved would ask, “Are you sure?”. This definitely requires the woman to give several reasons to support her suspicions. So question is, how did couples proceed in the era before conventional medicine, when there were no lab tests, no ultra sounds, no contraception and sex was probably more rampant than present? The manifestations of pregnancy are many and we shall group them into three for discussion:

Expecting a child with hydrocephalus

My Story…………..

I was 5 months into my pregnancy when I went for an ultrasound. My first pregnancy had not been an issue and culminated into a bouncing baby boy. The next two pregnancies had not been so successful; I had suffered miscarriages at 3 months on both occasions. Many couples approach major family projects with careful planning. Take for example the construction of a home. A lot of background checking goes into place. They ensure that the piece of land they intend to use is the best their money can afford and is not entangled in other legal issues, they counter check mortgage details with a lawyer, and consult an architect or two. After all the facts are in, then the construction begins.

What does the draft constitution say about children's rights and the family?

Do you have any idea what the new constitution says about your child and family? There are certian key statements that are made in section 41 and 42 of the draft constitution that you need to be conversant with. For instance, it states that all children, whether born within or outside wedlock are equal in the eyes of the law! That has quite significant implications in a society where 'extra' families have been known to make an appearance at the death of spouse.
